UK Vet Nurses Worldwide was founded by a UK Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for animal welfare, education, and sustainable global veterinary support.
Through clinical and outreach experience, she recognised the challenges faced by veterinary teams working in resource-limited settings — but also the huge impact that practical nursing knowledge, training, and collaboration could have.
The charity was created to connect veterinary nurses with organisations worldwide, providing hands-on support, training, and knowledge exchange alongside local veterinary professionals.
From the beginning, the focus has been on collaboration, respect, and long-term impact — strengthening existing teams rather than replacing them, and improving animal welfare through shared expertise.
